I chose VisionFirst for my iLasik procedure because of Dr. Sarah Hays.  In 2004, Dr. Hays performed my mother’s lens replacement surgery.  I was mother’s designated driver and I sat in on all the appointments and was impressed with Dr. Hays’ ability to assuage fears by providing ample information concerning the procedure.  Naturally, when I decided to undergo iLasik in July 2009 I sought out Dr. Hays.  Everyone at VisionFirst was extremely helpful in answering my many questions concerning the iLasik procedure, aftercare and even insurance coverage.  The caring nature of the VisionFirst staff put me at ease and served as confirmation that I was making the correct decision by undergoing the procedure.  Immediately following the procedure I was taking into the examination room and was able to see the Snellen chart without glasses!  I had worn some form of corrective lenses from ages 8 to 27.  Thanks to VisionFirst I was re-introduced to the gift of uninhibited sight.  Now I have no fear of international travel because I do not have to worry about washing my hands in unsafe water and potentially transferring bacteria to my eyes via contact lenses.  Thank you Dr. Hays and VisionFirst for setting me free!
