An intraocular lens (IOL) for cataracts combined with drug delivery to lower pressure inside the eye.
Please inform your healthcare provider if you are in need of cataract surgery (have a cloudy lens inside of your eye) and have glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
How It Works
The SpyGlass Drug Delivery Platform consists of bimatoprost drug pads attached to the SpyGlass Intraocular lens. The system is then implanted using the same technique as for standard cataract surgeries. Upon implant, the drug pads release bimatoprost to lower eye pressure.
Participation Includes:
- Compensation for time and travel required
- Eye examinations and follow up care for up to 3 years
- Compensation for study-related medications
